May 12th RallyCross at the English Gravel pit: The driveway for the site is at 18208 SE 1st Street, Vancouver, WA 98684. (This is next to the English winery, but please do not use the winery driveway for parking.)
AWD Registration/Tech for Morning Session is 8am to 9am
2WD Registration/Tech for Afternoon Session is 12 noon to 1pm

Sorry for the late notice, but due to a number of folks being out of town, sick, or engaged in another ORG activity tomorrow night, we’ve decided to cancel this month’s meeting at Buster’s.
That said, the ORG was asked by OMSI to participate in this month’s ‘OMSI After Dark’ event the same Wednesday (3/27) as the meeting. This month features the MythBusters exhibit. Part of the exhibit features a game testing the myth “Can you drive blindfolded with someone else giving you directions?” and they wanted to see if rally driver/co-driver pairs would fare better than the average person. We also will have a table set up to promote the ORG and our associated events, explain the different forms of rally, what it takes to be a rally driver, etc.

Do you want to help at the RallyCross? We need volunteers to be course designers, safety stewards, event chairs, tech inspectors, and to help with registration. If you’re interested in helping out we will train you! Just email me at rallycross@oregonrally.com and tell me what you’d like to do.
We will be having a Non-points RallyCross on November 3rd in Vancouver, WA.
Please note: This site is an old gravel pit – so there are lots of rocks of varying sizes, and it may be rough on your car or at least your tires.
Registration and tech for all classes will be 9-10am. Competition runs will be approximately 10:30am to 5:00pm, with a quick lunch break around 1pm. All classes will run together, with one half running before the lunch break, and the other half running after the lunch break.

This will NOT be an ORG season championship points event – the 2012 championship is done. We may use this site for events next year, so I am hoping to get feedback on the site for planning purposes.
